The Thrift Folk was created drawing inspiration from endless day dreams of faraway places and my passion for travel & Island style aesthetics which I have loved since my twenties.

Founded in 2019 with the purpose of sharing my finds and love of wandering around flea markets, vintage stores and thrift shops, that warm buzz of finding something different.

I love gathering pieces for my own home with a modern minimal pallet infused with Island style vintage. I find the feeling of reloving something with a past very charming and often make up stories and imagine who, or how that worn but well loved piece was used, an object with a history of its own, some of which we will never know. I truly feel this way of living is a way for us to reconnect and live in alignment with pieces that truly make our soul sing.

Each piece chosen are deeply rooted in our values of bringing considered collections for their timeless qualities and unique style. Whilst creating a way of making preloved and vintage more accessible. And by doing so, this allows me to play my part in caring for our environment and helping support a circular economy. I want to help break the misconception that you don’t have to compromise on quality and style when buying second hand pieces.
